Job Overview:
A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office. This position offers the opportunity to represent employers in a broad range of complex employment-related disputes and provide strategic counsel on labor and employment law matters. Ideal for a mid-to-senior level litigator with strong advocacy skills and an interest in advancing within a dynamic employment law practice.

Location:

• Chicago, IL

Duties:

• Defend and litigate a wide variety of employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations

• Represent employers before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and in arbitration or mediation proceedings

• Handle class and collective actions and other complex employment disputes

• Provide strategic advice and counsel to corporate clients on labor and employment compliance, risk mitigation, and workplace policies

• Draft legal memoranda, motions, pleadings, and discovery responses

• Manage all phases of litigation from investigation through trial or settlement

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience (employment law strongly preferred)

• Solid understanding of federal and state court procedures and employment-related administrative processes

• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently while collaborating effectively with team members

• Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

• Active Illinois Bar admission or ability to obtain promptly
