Duties:
Evaluate and manage new contested foreclosure matters
Formulate and execute litigation plans aimed at achieving timely case resolution
Advise clients on litigation risks, potential strategies, and legal ramifications
Prepare and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Represent clients in various legal forums including hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations
Oversee billing review processes and ensure timely payment follow-ups on client accounts
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years in active legal practice
At least 3 years of litigation experience
At least 3 years of experience in mortgage foreclosure or related litigation
Prior experience handling evidentiary hearings or trials with witness testimony is preferred
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active membership with the Florida Bar
Admission to Federal District Court in Florida is considered an asset
Skills:
Strong litigation acumen and ability to develop case strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Adept in legal research, case analysis, and court procedures
Competent in Microsoft Office applications (intermediate level or above)
