Temporary/Contract Attorney

Profile

We’re seeking an attorney with 4+ years of post-bar experience for a temporary position begining in October and running for about three months. Depending on performance and worload there is the potential for this to become a full time role. Our firm focuses on representing aggrieved investors and cryptocurrency users seeking to recover financial losses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead case strategy, draft pleadings/motions, manage discovery, and handle hearings and depositions. 

• Conduct legal research and craft persuasive, plain-English work product.

• Ramp up quickly and drive key deliverables during the 2–3-month engagement.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar license in California in good standing. Prefer attorneys with experience in N.D. Cal. 

• 4+ years of ltigation experience.

• Strong drafting, organization, and time-management skills.

• Comfortable with modern tooling (case management, e-filing, document review, video hearings).

Nice to Have

• Prior responsibility for hearings/depositions or second-chair trial/arbitration experience.

• Experience with consumer protection or securities litigation. 

• Familiarity with digital assets and blockchain technology.
