Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced senior associate to join its professional liability team in Dallas, TX. This individual will assist in all facets of the litigation practice, including depositions, strategy development, case evaluations, hearings, legal research and writing, dispute resolution, arbitrations, and trials. Duties

  • Conduct mission-critical depositions and hearings.
  • Develop and implement case strategies.
  • Perform legal research and draft legal documents.
  • Engage in alternative dispute resolution and arbitration.
  • Participate in trials and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with team members and delegate tasks effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of litigation experience, preferably with construction experience.
  • Admitted to the Texas Bar.
  • Confidence in personal interactions and court proceedings.
  • Team-oriented with a business culture mindset.
  • Creative and action-oriented leadership skills.
  • Concise and professional communication abilities.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD)
