A law firm in Santa Monica is seeking a Securities Litigation Associate Attorney with 4+ years of relevant experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. The position requires strong experience in securities litigation and a Bar license in the state where the firm is located or eligibility to sit for the next Bar exam.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in securities litigation matters, including securities fraud, regulatory investigations, and shareholder disputes.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Prepare and present persuasive arguments in court and during settlement negotiations.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate and detailed records of all case-related activities.
• Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather evidence and build strong cases.
• Stay current with developments in securities law, regulations, and industry trends.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients and guide them through complex litigation processes.
• Participate in case strategy meetings and provide input on litigation tactics.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in the state where the firm is located or eligibility to sit for the next Bar exam.
• At least 4+ years of experience in securities litigation or a related area of law.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Santa Monica, or eligibility to sit for the next Bar exam.
