Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Privacy and Cybersecurity Litigation Associate to join their team in Los Angeles, California. The successful candidate will work on complex data privacy and security issues in high-profile litigation, arbitrations, and regulatory investigations.

Duties

• Engage in privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection litigation in state and federal courts.
• Defend claims under statutes such as CCPA/CPRA, TCPA, CIPA/ECPA, CMIA, CEMA, COPPA, BIPA, and FCRA.
• Participate in regulatory investigations or enforcement actions.
• Respond to security incidents and manage fast-moving matters with multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborate directly with clients to address their legal needs.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar.
• Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• California bar admission.

Skills

• Strong aptitude for technology and understanding of technological processes.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
