Attorney - Workout and Loan Origination
The candidate will represent banks, other financial institutions, and borrowers in commercial loan and commercial real estate finance, and work-out and bankruptcy matters. Primary responsibilities include: drafting and negotiation of loan documents, forbearance agreements, notices of default and reservation of rights letters; reviewing collateral files and preparing document review memoranda; reviewing corporate due diligence (including UCC lien searches, organizational documents, certificates of good standing, litigation searches) and real estate due diligence (including review of title documents and surveys); and performing legal research. Admission to the Michigan Bar and excellent academic credentials are required. Must have 2-5 years of experience in commercial finance and/or commercial loan re-structuring and bankruptcy matters.
