Part-time Attorney

The candidate must have 1-5 years of experience in commercial finance, real estate and/or corporate transactional matters. Work with supervising attorneys to represent banks, other financial institutions, and borrowers in commercial loan, commercial real estate finance, and equipment leasing matters. Primary responsibilities include drafting and negotiation of loan and equipment lease documents, reviewing corporate due diligence (including UCC lien searches, organizational documents, certificates of good standing, litigation searches) and real estate due diligence (including review of title documents and surveys), assisting with loan and equipment lease closings, and performing legal research. Admission to the Michigan Bar and excellent academic credentials are required.
