The position emphasizes direct involvement in case strategy, client interaction, and trial preparation.

Duties:

• Assist in the handling of complex tort and catastrophic injury matters from inception to resolution

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court hearings

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial strategy and case development

• Analyze medical records, expert reports, and other case-critical documentation

• Maintain client communication and support litigation case management activities

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant litigation experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

• Strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills

• Experience in personal injury or tort litigation preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Connecticut Bar is required

• Admission to the Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts Bar is strongly preferred

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research platforms and litigation software tools

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and organizational abilities

• Capable of working independently and within a team structure
