A law firm based in Seattle, WA is seeking a dynamic litigation associate to join its commercial dispute resolution team. Duties:

• Represent clients in civil matters involving breach of contract, real estate, personal injury defense, and property disputes

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations

• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies

• Manage multiple matters with attention to deadlines and case milestones

• Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams

• Participate in settlement negotiations and litigation planning

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of civil litigation experience

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research

• Demonstrated ability to handle a broad range of litigation matters

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Effective communicator with sound judgment and a collaborative mindset

• Admission to practice law in Washington State (required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association

Skills:

• Legal analysis and persuasive writing

• Courtroom and deposition experience

• Strategic problem-solving

• Client relationship management

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with case management tools and legal research databases
