The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, complemented by excellent academic credentials and superior research and writing skills.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice on insurance coverage matters, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.
• Analyze and interpret insurance policies and coverage issues, providing strategic guidance and recommendations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance contracts, policies, and related legal documents.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal analyses on complex insurance and reinsurance issues.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to address and resolve insurance coverage disputes.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of insurance-related cases, ensuring timely and successful resolution.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address insurance claims and coverage issues.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and case law affecting insurance and reinsurance.
• Prepare and present legal arguments, motions, and briefs in court and other legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough legal research and produce high-quality written work.
• Experience managing insurance coverage disputes and related litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
