Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Litigation Practice Attorney to join its team in Cherry Hill, NJ. The attorney will be able to work closely with the Financial Services Litigation Group, representing clients in various consumer and commercial financial matters. The role requires 5+ years of commercial litigation experience with proficiency in drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation. Admission to practice in PA/NJ is essential, and expertise in consumer finance-related litigation is considered advantageous.

Job Duties:

• Collaborate closely with the Financial Services Litigation Group to represent clients in consumer and commercial financial matters.
• Manage cases from inception to resolution, demonstrating ownership and commitment throughout litigation.
• Draft pleadings, including complaints, answers, and motions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
• Conduct discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions, to gather evidence and support case strategy.
• Prepare for trials by conducting legal research, drafting trial briefs, and coordinating with expert witnesses as necessary.
• Attend court hearings, conferences, and settlement negotiations to effectively advocate for clients' interests.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• Strong proficiency in drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and trial preparation materials.
• Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and case precedents.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work product.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also taking initiative independently.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
