Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, and equitable distribution.
• Draft and review legal documents including separation agreements and premarital agreements.
• Provide counsel to clients on family law issues with clear and effective communication.
• Advocate for clients during mediation, hearings, and trials.
• Work closely with a collaborative team of legal professionals to manage cases efficiently.
• Maintain a high standard of client service while handling a varied caseload.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of post-law school experience in family law.
• Active and valid license to practice law in the State of North Carolina.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of family law, including divorce, custody, child support, and property distribution.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• North Carolina Bar License (Required).

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and drafting abilities.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle sensitive family law matters.
