Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint venture agreements, and financing documents.
• Conduct and oversee due diligence, including title review, survey analysis, and environmental assessments.
• Structure and document equity investments, partnership arrangements, and development agreements.
• Advise on loan workouts, restructurings, and REO dispositions.
• Coordinate closings, liaising with lenders, title companies, escrow agents, and stakeholders.
• Counsel clients on zoning, land use, permitting, and compliance issues.
• Mentor junior attorneys and supervise support staff on transaction workflows.

Requirements

• 14 years' experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• Active membership in the Florida Bar and eligibility for federal court admission.
• Proven track record of managing high-value real estate deals from negotiation through closing.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and communication abilities.
• Experience leading deal teams and collaborating with cross-functional advisors.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related discipline.

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Federal District Court admission preferred.
