Duties:

• Manage a caseload from initiation through resolution

• Represent clients before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Negotiate settlements on behalf of injured clients

• Provide regular case status updates and maintain organized case files

• Collaborate with legal staff and support professionals to meet case deadlines

• Ensure compliance with legal procedures and ethical standards

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in California

• 1 year of experience.

• Resident of the State of California

• Familiarity with the workers’ compensation process

• Interest in or experience with catastrophic injury matters

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Willingness to work in person and commit to full-time weekday hours

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Member in good standing of the California State Bar
