Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals
Manage a full caseload involving detained and non-detained individuals
Prepare and file various immigration applications, including:
I-130 (family-based petitions)
I-601, I-601A (waivers)
EOIR-related filings
Naturalization and citizenship applications
Visit detention centers and conduct in-person intake evaluations
Review and revise immigration application packets and legal documentation
Provide strategic legal consultations to potential clients
Develop case strategy and prepare clients and witnesses for USCIS interviews and court testimony
Draft and submit legal briefs and supporting documentation for a variety of immigration cases
Liaise with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community-based organizations on legal updates
Mentor junior attorneys and work collaboratively with the legal team
Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing immigration law
Experience handling EOIR cases, detained representation, and USCIS applications
Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload independently
Experience in client-facing roles, legal analysis, and strategy development
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction (Texas Bar preferred)
Proficiency in legal writing, case preparation, and courtroom advocacy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with immigration case management software (preferred)
Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate in a team-based environment
