Associate Attorney
The candidate will meet with prospective clients for first consultations and gather all necessary information to make planning recommendations. Review the current plan with existing clients and review possible changes or upgrades to the current estate plan. Review and draft legal documents on behalf of clients: estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. Keep detailed client notes of all meetings and phone calls in the current client platform. All other projects as assigned. Must have 3-5 years of experience with all aspects of estate planning and trust administration. Must be a licensed attorney by State Bar in Illinois. State Bar Certified Specialist in Trust, Wills & Probate is desired. Knowledge of income, gift, and estate tax laws is a plus. Have Notary Public. Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills are essential. Have strong attention to detail and accuracy. Be a self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills. Must have the ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines. Must have experience working with high net worth clients. Be proficient in MS Word. WealthCounsel experience is a plus.
