Duties

• Review and summarize medical records to support client defense strategies.
• Draft motions and represent clients in court hearings.
• Prepare and attend client depositions.
• Draft legal reports including initial, interim, pre-trial, trial, and appellate reports.
• Respond to discovery requests and draft discovery-related motions.
• Regularly attend court appearances to advocate for clients.
• Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.

Requirements

• 3-10 years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense.
• Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida.
• Proven experience drafting motions, preparing reports, and managing Workers' Compensation cases.
• Strong courtroom presence with experience attending hearings and depositions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Certifications

• Active Florida Bar license.
