Duties

• Independently manage an active caseload from inception to resolution.
• Represent clients in various insurance defense cases, including personal injury and premises liability.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support defense strategies.
• Draft pleadings and motions, conduct discovery, and handle court appearances.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and legal advice.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and partners on legal projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of litigation experience; insurance defense experience preferred.
• Licensed and admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee.
• Trial experience preferred but not required.
• Extensive experience in conducting depositions.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage an active caseload immediately.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Proficiency in CLIO is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
