Job Overview

A law firm seeks a qualified Transactional Associate to join its Charlotte, North Carolina office. The role involves representing capital providers in debt and equity investment activities, including lending transactions and private equity investments.

Duties

• Represent lenders in lending transactions.
• Advise alternative investment vehicles in debt and equity investments.
• Assist private equity fund investors in control and growth equity investments.
• Work across the capital structure with equity and debt investors.
• Support portfolio companies in acquisition, sell-side, and financing activities.

Requirements

• Three to six years of transactional experience preferred.
• Experience in finance or corporate transactions is ideal.
• Excellent academic performance required.
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary.

Education

• Law degree required.

Certifications

• Eligibility for North Carolina Bar admission preferred.

Skills

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
