Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in Washington, DC, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented associate attorney with 1-3 years of experience in intellectual property litigation. The role focuses on patent disputes involving national and international clients and offers a hybrid work structure to support both in-office collaboration and remote productivity. Duties:

• Handle a variety of patent litigation matters in federal courts and before regulatory agencies

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda

• Participate in discovery processes, including depositions and document review

• Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams to develop case strategies

• Interface directly with clients to provide updates and strategic guidance

• Prepare for and support trial teams during hearings and litigation proceedings

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in intellectual property litigation

• Prior experience as a federal judicial law clerk is strongly preferred

• Demonstrated interest or background in technology or scientific subject matter

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment

• Excellent analytical, writing, and oral communication capabilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Bar of at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Eligibility for admission to the Washington, DC Bar

Skills:

• Technical aptitude, especially in electrical engineering, computer science, or related disciplines

• Strategic litigation thinking and problem-solving ability

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• High degree of professionalism and client service orientation

Job Location:
