A law firm seeks a talented Patent Agent to join its Intellectual Property & Technology practice in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a background in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution.

Duties

• Harvest inventions directly from clients.
• Advise clients on invention disclosures, patent strategy, and prosecution.
• Evaluate cutting-edge technology.
• Draft and prosecute US patent applications.
• Guide prosecution of foreign patent applications.
• Contribute to opinion work and client counseling.
• Support litigation efforts.
• Provide hands-on technical support across the practice.
