A law firm seeks a Strategic Transactions and Licensing Associate to join their Technology Group in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will work with venture-backed startups and venture capital firms across various industries, including technology, life sciences, and financial services. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise throughout the entire lifecycle of a company and engage directly with clients.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate licensing, partnering, and commercial agreements.
• Provide intellectual property, privacy, and business counseling to clients.
• Manage transactions from formation to financings and acquisitions.

Requirements

• JD from 2023-2024.
• Experience in commercial contracts, venture financing, or M&A transactions preferred.
• Admission to or eligibility for the Massachusetts State Bar.
• Superior academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• Previous large law firm experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor from a top law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of Massachusetts.
