Tax Associate

Candidate will work directly with 2 of top Tax attorneys. Will have business development experience, enhance professional development skills, and develop significant responsibility and work with partners on all levels of client interaction. An LL.M. in taxation is a plus. A Virginia Bar license will be needed but welcome licensed in other Mid-Atlantic states who can promptly waive into VA. Must have: 4-8 years’ of transactional tax experience. Experience with general tax law and compliance matters with an emphasis in flow-through taxation of partnerships, S corporations and REITs. Additional experience with business transactions such as entity formation, limited liabilities companies, and limited partnerships. Will be meticulous with details and be able to both work effectively as part of a team while also being able to assume individual responsibility for client matters involving direct client interaction. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Must demonstrate strong writing skills. Will also possess a drive for excellence and willingness to take initiative to solve problems.
