Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Richmond, VA, is actively seeking experienced attorneys with a demonstrated history of client development to support continued growth across several strategic legal practice areas. Ideal candidates will bring an existing portfolio of clients and a strong interest in contributing to a collegial and values-driven legal team. The firm is particularly focused on enhancing its presence in government advisory, corporate transactions, real estate, litigation, and regulatory compliance.

Duties:

• Advise clients across one or more practice areas such as:

  • Local government law and public finance

  • Commercial real estate transactions

  • Trusts and estates planning

  • Corporate structuring, M&A, and general business law

  • Labor and employment matters for employers

  • Tax strategy and compliance

  • Cybersecurity and data privacy advisory

  • Commercial and white-collar litigation

  • Construction and complex dispute resolution

• Maintain and expand an existing book of business through proactive client service and relationship building

• Collaborate with internal teams across practice groups to deliver integrated legal solutions

• Participate in firm-wide initiatives to promote knowledge sharing and professional development

• Contribute to mentoring and fostering a collaborative team culture

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school

• Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia

• Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and business development capabilities

• Track record of originating or managing client relationships

Education:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Virginia State Bar (mandatory)
