Duties

• Handle commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, well-reasoned legal analysis.
• Manage cases and deadlines independently while maintaining high-quality work product.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Requirements

• Active license and good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial and/or business litigation.
• Excellent legal writing and research skills.
• Strong drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a litigation docket with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Professional judgment and client-focused mindset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
