Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking a talented Structured Finance Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing financial institutions in various asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions.

Duties:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents related to asset-backed securitizations and structured lending transactions.
• Conducting legal research and providing analysis on complex financial and regulatory issues.
• Advising clients on structuring and executing transactions in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborating with senior attorneys and clients to develop strategies and solutions for transactional matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility for admission via reciprocity).
• 2-3 years of experience in structured finance, asset-backed securitizations, or related fields.
• Proven track record of representing financial institutions as issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, sellers, and purchasers.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of capital markets, structured finance, and financial regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work product.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience at a large law firm specializing in structured finance.
• Familiarity with esoteric securitizations such as whole business, digital infrastructure, and media royalty securitizations.
• Interest in developing expertise in structured private credit facilities.
