A law firm seeks a junior associate with 1-3 years of real estate finance experience to join their Real Estate practice in New York. The candidate will engage in commercial real estate debt and equity transactions, drafting financing documents, managing workstreams, and coordinating complex closings for institutional clients.

Duties

• Assist in structuring, documenting, and closing various loan and credit facilities.
• Negotiate intercreditor, co-lender, and syndication arrangements.
• Coordinate multistate and multijurisdictional diligence processes.
• Support joint venture and development arrangements.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of real estate finance experience at a reputable law firm.
• Familiarity with CMBS, CRE-CLO, and balance-sheet loan programs.
• Experience with credit agreements and related documents.
• Admission to the State Bar of New York.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of New York.
