Duties

• Represent clients in family law cases and assist in all aspects of litigation.
• Provide legal advice on divorce, child custody, support, alimony, and domestic violence.
• Conduct client consultations to assess legal issues and gather information.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court hearings.
• Analyze case facts and apply relevant law to provide informed advice.
• Prepare discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories and subpoenas.
• Draft settlement agreements and child custody arrangements.
• Prepare Case Information Statements and review tax returns.
• Attend hearings, trials, and conferences, advocating for clients.
• Manage a caseload from intake through resolution.
• Maintain accurate case files and client communication.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and provide case updates.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 3-6 years of family law experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high caseload and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
