Accounting Subject Matter Expert

The candidate responsibilities and accountabilities will include: CPE Curriculum Development; Update existing CPE courses; Write new CPE courses; Review CPE courses developed by other SMEs; Write and/or review CPE course questions and glossaries; Write CPE course descriptions; Determine appropriate visual images to include in CPE courses; Completes other duties as assigned; CPA Curriculum Development; Updating existing CPA course content; Write new CPA course content; Review CPA course content developed by other SMEs. Must be a licensed CPA (or tax attorney) with 7+ years of experience in the accounting profession (or tax practice). A master’s degree (or JD) is preferred. Previous experience teaching and/or preparing accounting curriculum is required. Experience teaching CPA review or CPE courses is preferred. Preferred areas of expertise include taxation, auditing, financial accounting and reporting, government accounting, not-for-profit accounting, managerial accounting, finance, economics and information technology.
