Duties

• Maintain an active caseload and meet established billable hour expectations

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Ensure compliance with all statutory deadlines and court requirements

• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

• Assist supervising attorneys with case management and trial preparation

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, responding promptly to inquiries

• Participate in strategic case meetings, staying informed on case status and procedural developments

• Evaluate case strengths and weaknesses to develop effective litigation strategies

• Stay current with legal developments and fulfill continuing education requirements

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide effective solutions

• Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software

Education

• Bachelor’s degree

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
