A law firm seeks a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced litigation environment, advocating for injured clients from case intake through resolution. This role demands strategic case management and exceptional client representation.

Duties

• Manage plaintiff-side personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case evaluations.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and medical providers.
• Assist with case strategy, damages development, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and support staff on litigation matters.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of civil litigation experience, with plaintiff's personal injury experience preferred.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Ability to independently manage deadlines and caseload responsibilities.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
