Job Overview:
A law firm located in Rockville, MD is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in foreclosure law, demonstrating both expertise and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload. The position involves handling contested foreclosure matters and collaborating with clients and colleagues to drive favorable results.

Duties:

• Draft, review, and approve foreclosure-related pleadings
• Manage all aspects of foreclosure cases, including contested foreclosures
• Participate in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, and in-person hearings
• Provide regular client updates and meetings
• Handle additional duties and special projects as required

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active and in good standing with the DC and Maryland Bar
• Willingness to travel routinely within Maryland for court appearances
• Strong ability to manage a large caseload with competing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on client interactions
• Exceptional client service skills, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and resolve them promptly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Solid problem-solving abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice in both DC and Maryland
