Assistant General Counsel, Litigation, Employment & Regulatory
The candidate will develop strategy and actively manage litigation and claims portfolio worldwide from inception to conclusion, including the development and execution of effective litigation management (including discovery) and settlement strategies, budget and outside counsel management, and the negotiation and resolution of pre-litigation disputes. Assess and coordinate response to complex regulatory inquiries and investigations involving our industry, our product or our business around the world. Design, implement and maintain policies, processes, systems and training to manage litigation risks, including document preservation, case management and discovery systems. Build and manage a small team supporting litigation, employment and regulatory matters. Proactively counsel lawyers and business people at all levels across the company to help manage risk up-front and provide legal counsel and business-oriented solutions. Meet with and provide reports to the board / audit committee and executive team on key litigation and regulatory matters. Maintain a culture with a high degree of emphasis on integrity, respect, and inclusion.
