Duties:
Review property titles and resolve any title-related discrepancies or encumbrances
Draft and interpret legal documentation, including purchase agreements, leases, and deeds
Offer legal insight and support to clients on a range of residential real estate matters
Represent clients during closing proceedings
Liaise with realtors, lenders, title companies, and other involved parties to facilitate smooth transactions
Negotiate and resolve legal or transactional issues as they arise
Stay informed on evolving real estate laws and conduct legal research as needed
Ensure compliance with relevant local and state regulations throughout all stages of real estate deals
Requirements:
Active license to practice law in the State of Florida
At least 1 year of focused experience in residential real estate law
Familiarity with title search, review, and curative procedures
Notary Public Commission in Florida preferred
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Client-focused approach with strong responsiveness and adaptability
Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida
Florida Notary Public (preferred)
Skills:
Proficiency in interpreting and resolving complex title issues
Strong drafting and analytical skills for transactional documents
Deep understanding of Florida real estate laws and closing protocols
Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities
Comfortable interacting with clients and third parties in a professional setting
Capable of balancing legal insight with business-minded solutions
Technically proficient and comfortable with legal software and digital documentation systems
