Job Overview

A well-established personal injury law firm is seeking a Junior Attorney to join its Prelitigation Department. This is an excellent opportunity for newly licensed attorneys or those new to personal injury law to gain hands-on experience, build foundational litigation skills, and launch a career in trial law. The role focuses on managing prelitigation personal injury matters, working closely with clients, and developing strong case-building and negotiation skills.

Location

Duties

• Manage and evaluate personal injury claims in the prelitigation phase

• Communicate regularly and empathetically with clients regarding case status and expectations

• Build case files by gathering medical records, insurance documentation, and evidence

• Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and opposing parties

• Collaborate with prelitigation team, litigation attorneys, and administrative staff

• Participate in regular meetings with managing partners and legal leadership

• Learn and follow firm procedures and case management strategies

Requirements

• Recently licensed attorney or early-career professional with interest in personal injury law

• Active license to practice law in Colorado and in good standing

• Strong interest in developing into a litigation or trial attorney

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable with client interaction and negotiation

• Willingness to receive training and work within a collaborative legal team

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado
