Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through the summary judgment phase in state and federal courts.
• Handle intake and evaluation of new general liability and product liability matters.
• Draft and file answers, pleadings, written discovery, and dispositive motions.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including document review and depositions.
• Conduct legal analysis and develop strategic recommendations.
• Take and defend depositions of key fact and expert witnesses.
• Handle motions practice, including drafting and arguing motions.
• Collaborate with portfolio counsel and the Office Managing Partner on case strategy.
• Assist national counsel with defense experts throughout litigation.
• Prepare case updates and communicate with clients as needed.
• Work closely with paralegals and litigation support staff.
• Deliver exceptional client service and contribute to client development efforts.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Two to five years of litigation experience, with a focus on general liability; product liability experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently from inception through summary judgment.
• Experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motions practice.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with legal teams and clients.
• No disciplinary history or ethics violations.
• Commitment to exceptional client service and professional responsibility.

Education

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
