A law firm seeks a Real Estate Finance Associate with over four years of experience for its New York, NY office. The candidate will engage in a dynamic practice involving commercial property financing and related transactions.

Duties

• Represent commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, and other lenders in financing commercial properties.
• Conduct title, survey, lease, and other commercial property diligence.
• Work on the origination of loans secured by commercial properties.
• Engage in real estate owner/operator, developer, and equity side work, including leasing.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in real estate finance.
• Experience with mezzanine loans and commercial mortgage loan securitization and syndication is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills
