A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with expertise in wage and hour litigation to join their team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3-7+ years of experience handling class and PAGA actions in both state and federal courts.

Duties

• Defend class and PAGA claims in state and federal court.
• Conduct document and data reviews related to wage and hour claims.
• Prepare case evaluations for clients in class/PAGA actions.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests in class/PAGA matters.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Engage in law and motion work, including arbitration and dispositive motions.
• Prepare for and attend mediations, including drafting mediation briefs.
• Attend court hearings and argue dispositive motions.
• Participate in arbitration and/or trial proceedings.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in the State of California.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California State Bar admission.

Skills

• Excellent research and writing skills.
