Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Leasing Attorney with a minimum of five years' experience in commercial leases to join its Real Estate Group in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience with office, industrial, and retail leases, with solar leasing experience being a plus.

Duties

• Act as the lead attorney in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements.
• Supervise the work of less experienced leasing attorneys.
• Interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, property managers, brokers, and other relevant parties.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements.
• Understanding of the commercial leasing market and lease-related issues.
• Experience with leases for multiple property types, including office, retail, and industrial.
• Substantial experience representing landlords.

• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which you are applying.
