A law firm located in Cleveland is seeking a Mid-level Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding academic credentials, a strong work ethic, and excellent writing and research skills. They should also have a keen interest in supporting complex commercial litigation matters in a sophisticated and diverse practice. Prior clerkship experience is considered a plus.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation matters.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics.
• Assist with all aspects of case management, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Maintain meticulous case files and documentation for reference and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar; additional state bar admissions are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation best practices.
• Exceptional writing and research skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
• Prior clerkship experience preferred but not required.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Ohio State Bar; additional state bar admissions are advantageous.
