Planned Giving Relationship Manager II
The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of our high quality, comprehensive services to an assigned book of clients. Consultative role will help develop new prospective client relationships, manage ongoing client relationships, and advise existing clients on a wide variety of gift planning, gift investment, and program management issues. This will include interacting frequently with senior staff in the development, Treasurer's, and investment offices of nonprofit institutions along with members of their boards. Develop consultative relationships with senior client staff. Review program oversight and other client deliverables and resolve issues. Report to senior staff, committees, and subcommittees of clients' governing boards on the services company provides. Consult with clients on complex gift planning, investment, and administration issues, Develop articles, client consulting materials, and tools clients can leverage in their work with donors. Develop and deliver educational presentations at client events such as our annual Client Conference, our Summer Institute, regional development seminars, virtual symposia, and webinars. Respond to client inquiries, perform research, and provide guidance regarding individual planned gift issues such as complex gift structuring, donor communications, investment allocations for life income gifts, explaining investment performance to beneficiaries, anticipating or resolving administration or reporting service issues. Engage and include other subject matter expertise at company as needed. Assess clients' planned giving program needs. Consult with clients regarding marketing strategies, acceptance policies, industry trends, risks in planned giving programs, peer benchmarking efforts, etc. Review company’s program oversight reporting with clients. Conduct donor and staff educational seminars. Represent company at regional and national conferences. Participate in local and national planned giving councils. Develop and deliver educational presentations to industry groups. Identify and communicate with prospective clients. Participate in the development of responses to RFPs. Lead the negotiation of contracts with new clients. Contribute to the identification, design, and development of new company products and services.
