Job Overview: A law firm in Framingham, MA, is seeking a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join their team. They will handle various day-to-day tasks, including drafting motions, appearing in court, conducting trials, and taking depositions.

Duties:

• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis of laws, regulations, and legal precedent
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and examinations
• Take and defend depositions
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and client representation

Requirements:

• Strong legal analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in Law, including legal research and writing
• Experience in drafting motions, appearing in court, and conducting trials
• Knowledge of deposition procedures and techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience in insurance litigation is a plus

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Bar in Massachusetts is required
• Admission to Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont is a plus
