A law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level leverage finance associate for their Houston, TX office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of substantive finance experience, particularly in private credit sponsor acquisition financings.

Duties

• Collaborate with bank and non-bank financial institutions on syndicated and club transactions.
• Engage in structured finance, CLOs, and fund finance activities.
• Focus on cash flow lending and sophisticated finance transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of substantive finance experience.
• Experience with private credit sponsor acquisition financings preferred.
• Strong deal experience at a large law firm.
• Admission to the state bar of the preferred office location.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• State bar admission in the preferred office location.
