Duties

• Assist senior attorneys with family law cases, including divorce and child custody.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and agreements under supervision.
• Attend client meetings and court proceedings under supervision.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda for senior attorneys.
• Complete strategy meetings with clients at the start of representation.
• Advise clients on legal options for litigation or settlement.
• Review and respond to correspondence from clients and opposing counsel.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Represent clients in litigation at various hearings.
• Mentor junior associates or interns and contribute to team workflow.

Requirements

• Licensed by the State Bar of California.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• California Bar License.
