The role involves representing a large international logistics services provider and handling litigation matters within the transportation sector.

Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload under the supervision of senior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to transportation laws and regulations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Draft case analysis reports for client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in the state of Texas.
• 3-5+ years of general casualty litigation experience.
• Transportation and logistics experience preferred.
• Experience with emerging e-commerce legal issues preferred.
• Deposition and motion practice experience required.
• Trial experience preferred.

Education

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Texas.
