A law firm in St. Louis is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will support the firm's litigation practice with a focus on civil litigation, demonstrating strong research and writing skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed written reports.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and pre-trial documents.
• Take and defend depositions, and respond to discovery requests.
• Investigate cases and gather relevant evidence.
• Prepare and present arguments in court hearings and trials.
• Participate in trial and appellate practice.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and other legal professionals.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in civil litigation preferred.
• Recent law school graduates with relevant interests and background will be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and above-average writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar in Missouri.

Skills:
