A law firm seeks a Financial Services Litigation Associate in Los Angeles. The position is ideal for 4th to 6th year associates interested in financial services litigation, particularly in representing broker-dealers and registered representatives in FINRA arbitrations.

Duties

• Analyze issues and conduct research for drafting briefs on sophisticated legal matters.
• Participate in FINRA arbitration and motion arguments.
• Prepare outlines and exhibits for depositions and trial preparations.
• Manage cases, including written discovery responses and document review.
• Work directly with clients and experts strategically and analytically.

Requirements

• Experience in FINRA arbitration and trial preparation.
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
• Case management experience.
• Solid academic performance and good standing with the California State Bar.
• Admission to the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California preferred.

Education

• Law degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active membership with the California State Bar.
