Location:

• Pasadena, California

Duties:

• Manage day-to-day responsibilities for a caseload of employment law matters

• Draft and file complaints, motions, and discovery responses

• Conduct legal research and draft supporting memoranda

• Defend and conduct depositions

• Communicate directly with clients regarding case progress

• Participate in strategy sessions and case development

• Assist in all aspects of litigation, including trial preparation

• Take on additional litigation tasks based on interest and initiative

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of legal experience preferred (employment law background is a plus but not required)

• Ability to work independently and manage case responsibilities

• Must be eligible to work in California and either licensed or awaiting bar results

• Must be able to work full-time, in-person

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California Bar admission preferred

• Candidates awaiting bar results will also be considered

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities

• Proficiency with Westlaw and other legal research tools

• Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills

• Willingness to learn and grow with mentorship
