The ideal candidate will have 5–9 years of experience in civil litigation with a focus on product liability or personal injury defense. Location

Duties

• Manage all stages of federal and state civil litigation

• Conduct and respond to fact and expert discovery

• Draft and argue procedural, evidentiary, and dispositive motions

• Represent clients at court hearings, conferences, and trials

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop case strategies

• Prepare witnesses and experts for deposition and trial

• Assist in mentoring junior attorneys and staff as appropriate

• Maintain case files and manage litigation deadlines efficiently

Requirements

• 5–9 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in product liability or personal injury defense

• Experience handling complex litigation matters independently or in teams

• Strong understanding of the litigation lifecycle from inception through trial

• Demonstrated courtroom and motion practice experience

• Excellent legal writing, research, and advocacy skills

• Dedication to providing high-quality client service

• Interest in long-term career growth within the firm, including partnership potential

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic performance required

Certifications

• Active bar membership in Indiana or Wisconsin, or eligibility for prompt admission in the respective state
